Covid-19 has drastically changed the world as we currently know it. Likewise, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a couple weeks ago, DHS has decided to extended the October 2020 deadline for the Real ID changes to 2021. Currently, all previous rules pertaining to drivers licenses and document requirements will be the same for 2021.

I actually excited about the decision to extend the deadline. Hopefully, if we get over the COVID-19 situation soon, we can get back to normal and use our existing driver license to travel on commercial airplanes.
